Great Conditions for indoor motocross @Chestermans this weekend

The moisture is back and the dust is gone.

Three days in a row of above zero temps have sure hurt the snowmobile trails but WOW has it ever helped the Indoor Track. We have been able to water 3 nights in a row with dozer work once again possible. The Friday forcast is again for warm and we will be on the track before the weekend with the Dozer making changes. This is great news after the month long freeze that made watering and dozing impossible.  Expect damp grippy conditions until the next big freeze. This weekend should be great for Dirt Bikes

See you soon.

TechSpec Canada and Motocross Racer Liam O'Farrell Team Up for 2011 MX Season

OTTAWA, ON. CANADA – February 14, 2011 – Mike Rice, Director of Marketing and Sponsorships for Lean Angle Canada, the exclusive Canadian distributor of TechSpec Gripster Grip Pads, is proud to welcome South African MXer Liam O'Farrell to our team for 2011.  Liam’s sponsorship also aligns with a price reduction on all models of TechSpec Gripsters grip pads.

O'Farrell will be competing as a Pro in the 2011 Ontario and Quebec Provincial Motocross series in the Pro MX1 class with the Orange Motorsports Team aboard a KTM 450 SX-F. The Port Rowan, ON based rider will also compete in select rounds of the 2011 CMRC Monster Energy Motocross Nationals.

He has accomplished much over his nineteen years of racing internationally including, winning both the 2007 South African MX1 and MX2 National Motocross Champions. In 2010 O'Farrell wrapped up his season 11th overall in the MX1 Pro CMRC Monster Energy Motocross Nationals and he has been working extremely hard to prepare for the upcoming season.

TechSpec Gripster grip pads have been traditionally thought of as a product for sport bike riders. This past year many of our sponsored road racers had outstanding seasons including: Andrew Nelson - 2nd overall in the Parts Canada Superbike Championship, Steven Nickerson – 3rd overall in the Canadian Amateur Sport Bike Championship and Mike Bevan – S.O.A.R. Expert Superbike Championship and 600 Championship.

Gripsters are engineered to improve control and technique on a variety of powersports machines including motocross and enduro motorcycles as well as ATVs. The TechSpec Gripster grip pads have also been proven to enhance body positioning, reduce fatigue, and protects a rider’s tank or body work without harming their gear. The proprietary "Releasable/Reusable" adhesive ensures that riders can remove, adjust and reposition the grip pads to suit their particular riding style.

In conjunction with the introduction of TechSpec Gripster grip pads to the Canadian Motocross scene, through Liam’s sponsorship, Lean Angle Canada is extremely proud to announce that the retail price of the pad kits will be reduced effective February 14th, 2011.  Customers will need to contact their local dealer to find out how much they are going to save.

“A combination of a stronger Canadian dollar and benefits realized from the HST has allowed us to pass on savings to the people who matter the most to us; the Canadian motorcycle rider.  By reducing our pricing on Gripster grip pads Lean Angle and our valued dealers anticipate that now, more than ever, all riders will be able to experience the benefits of our pads.” stated Steve Reed, President, Lean Angle Canada. “Ultimately it will also benefit our dealers who are at the very heart and soul of the motorcycle community. They add value to the product, are the face of the industry to the customer and important to their local economies.”

Lean Angle Canada hopes that everyone will join them in and cheering on Liam this season and are extremely proud to have such a great racer as an ambassador of the TechSpec brand.

“The product feels amazing, it is strong and gives great grip on the bike, allowing me to have more control of my bike.” said O'Farrell “I'm really looking forward to riding for TechSpec and representing this great product for the 2011 season.”
