Damon Huffman continues to blow away the competition in Europe - Full Story and Damon InterviewDamon Huffman has had an outstanding year claiming 2nd overall in the Canadian National Motocross Series and 4th in the Montreal Supercross on September 27th. But that would not be enough for a fired up Huff Daddy. Damon was eager show his talents across the world, namely Spain, Portgual and Holland. First up was the Portugal Supercross - 1ST PLACE! - Great weather - Damon finishes his qualifier 17 seconds faster than Kyle Lewis! - Unfortunately, Kyle suffered a crash in the main event. Full story here. Damon went on to finish the race in 1st place and his first podium of more to come. Damon was getting into the groove and getting some great practice for the upcoming THQ World SX. The Barcelona Supercross - 1ST PLACE! - After a rough mud and pavement race (see the full story here) and a 7th place finish in the Madrid Supercross, Damon and Heidi got back to the Hotel at 2:30am. Up at 6am to catch a 7:30am flight to Barcelona... with only a couple hours of sleep, Damon jumped off the plane and directly to the stadium where he would hammer off two practices, a quick lunch, and back on the track for the 3-moto night. Damon miraculously powered to a 4-1-1 and captured the top of the podium..full story here CONGRATULATIONS DAMON!!"The worst mud race of my life" - Seville, Spain - Round 1 of the THQ World Supercross - The mud was so bad on this outdoor track in Spain, that they had to cancel the practice on Friday! Damon pulls up to the first heat race without riding his bike at all.. after a couple laps of mud bogging, Damon's clutch fried and was forced to sit for 3 laps. After his mechanic (Alan Brown) adjusted his cable, he still managed to complete the race, and ended the night in 16th.
