Quebec: DUSTY KLATT ROCKS MONTREAL SUPERCROSS
Supercross In his final race for Team Honda Blackfoot Fox, Dusty Klatt annihilated the competition at Montreals Olympic Stadium this past weekend to win the NAPA Montreal Supercross 250cc main event.

Klatt, who found himself in the illustrious company of such American supercross specialists as Jason Thomas, Josh Woods, Brock Sellards, Kyle Lewis, Jeff Dement and Jeff Gibson, nailed the holeshot and never looked back. The Campbell River, BC native was never threatened for position, crossing the finish line some 15 seconds ahead of runner-up Thomas.

Klatts victory marked the first time a Canadian has won the 250 main since Jean Sebastien Roy in 2002. Roy, unfortunately, was unable to ride this years Montreal SX for Team Blackfoot due to a practice injury earlier in the week.

Supercross Dusty Klatt won the 250 main by almost 15 seconds over Jason Thomas and Jeff Dement. Look for an interview with Dusty on www.racerxill.com on Monday morning as he just earned Racer X Illustrated's Monday Conversation. Klatt is the first Canadian to win the 250 main since JSR in 2002. Way to go Dusty!

Quebec: Motorcycle festival roars on to Crescent Street August 5-6
Press Releases Montreal, August 1, 2005 – Fresh off its phenomenal success when the Formula One four-wheelers arrived in the city in June, Crescent Street, the soul of Montreal’s downtown core, is set to rock with the two-wheeled set. Crescent Street is playing host to its first ever MotoFest, a two-day event combining freestyle motocross demonstrations, motorcycle and parts displays and rock concerts, August 5-6.

Quebec: KTM Team is “Ready to Race”
Arenacross On Saturday May 21st, Chicoutimi, Quebec, was hosting the final round of the 2005 Eastern Canadian Arenacross Series. The Series consists of 3 rounds, one in Victoriaville, one in Rivière-du Loup and one in Chicoutimi. Victoriaville was definitely dominated by KTM. In the 250 class, the orange crew scored an outstanding 1-2-3-4!

Quebec: KTM SQUAD SHOOTS DOWN THE COMPETITION
Pro Outdoor Motocross Michael Willard and Matt Barnes from Ohio and Nevada’s Jimmy Nelson had made the trip from the US to participate in their first Canadian race of the year. 2004 Quebec Arenacross Champion Marco Dubé was completing the orange Quartet. “We are pretty excited to introduce our new riders and colors at Victoriaville AX. The riders are all motivated and I am sure they will do well indoors” said team Manager Andy White before the race.

Quebec: Quebec ice racing series and regional info
Press Releases Buddy Ford and his group have put together the best ever ice racing series north of the border this winter. The Motorcycle and ATV ice racing series sanctioned by the CMRC Québec (Canadian Motosport Racing Club) attracts approximately 200 entries every weekend. The series will include nine rounds, all taking place in the province of Quebec.

Quebec: Guy Giroux was crowned 2004 Quebec Hare Scrambles Champion
Enduros, trials, Xcountry, The King of the Quebec woods will keep his throne! It is officially done. Last Sunday, KTM Canada’s Guy Giroux was crowned 2004 Quebec Hare Scrambles Champion. Guy rode hard all season long and impressed many with his consistency. He actually went undefeated winning each race of the 2004 championship in route to his 10th Provincial title.
