The new Board of Directors for the Massey Agricultural Society need some convincing in order to bring back the motocross races. 

The Board (except for a few Directors) fail to see why they should spend money to build a track and not realize a profit. It has been stated that the Fairgrounds need to be used more than just one weekend a year, and motocross is a revenue generating event.

There is approximately 40 acres of land that has been purchased and is not developed.  Starting from the ground up isn't always a bad thing.

Massey Agricultural Society already has the operating equipment on hand.

This could be developed into the region’s top facility. This would allow the track to go from good to awesome. The type of awesome riders would pay a premium to practice on and have a hard time waiting to race on.

The Massey Agricultural Society, as a not for profit organization, could secure government funding for economic development to help cover the costs of developing the track and installing fencing. 

A local logger is ready to clear the land – at no cost to the Ag Society.

A local heavy equipment owner is ready to use his equipment for the price of fuel.

There are so many people from so many different backgrounds that are ready to make this happen.

to bring back the CMRC motocross races to Massey.

Massey Fairgrounds has the land available to develop the track

into the best facility north of Barrie;

The local businesses realize the economic value of having

the motocross races back in the community;
